M.Monim Benaissa is currently working as Part-Time Professor lecturing on Comparative politics in the Middle East and North Africa, he is pursuing his Ph.D. on Law of the Sea development in the Arctic Region. The objective of his research is to identify some general problems of the current Law of the Sea and to analyze future trends and challenges. It attempts to cover areas of general interest and concern in ocean management as well as the implementation of UNCLOS rules in seas such as the Arctic and the Mediterranean.
