The Academy's Regional Studies section focuses on the theory and practice of the politics of territoriality. Among these include, just to mention a few, sub-national actors, supranationalism, ASEAN, NAFTA, the Mercosur and other regional trading blocs, urban and rural studies and the politics of independence movements.
