Atlas Institute’s Academy section allows undergraduate and master’s students with a passion for international affairs to see their work published by a world-leading think tank. Content submitted to the Academy must focus on the theory and/or practice of international relations, defense & security, regional studies, global governance, transnational phenomena, international trade & development.
Atlas Institute encourages the submission of student essays, policy papers and dissertations. If your submission focuses on an event involving decision-making by one or more actors, you will have the option to include a PolitiCard along with your piece.
All content submitted must respect the following guideline:
- Based on original research.
- Use the Basic Style Guide.
- Use the Harvard referencing style.
- Range between 1000 and 5000 words.
- Be written in English, both American and UK variants accepted.
- Be a graded summative piece – formative essays will not be accepted.
- Have obtained the equivalent of a 3.7 GPA or First-Class Honours grade.
- Be presented in a succinct and universally comprehensible language and form.
Atlas Institute for International Affairs reserves the right to decline, accept or request submission. Any content which is accepted and meets the prerequisites will be published within a maximum of a week from submission. Submissions allow consent for publication under the Publishing Agreement terms.
